ABOUT

Since 1992, John Kusiak has composed and produced music for film, television, advertising, podcasts, and live performances through Kusiak Music. He won the 2012 Cinema Eye Honors award for Best Original Music Score for Errol Morris' Tabloid and has scored several other award-winning documentaries.

John studied music theory and composition at the University of Missouri and played guitar in several rock and jazz bands in the ’80s and ’90s, including the Pousette-Dart Band and The Original Rhythm Method. He is currently part of a five-member band that performs live to Tillie’s Punctured Romance, the first full-length movie featuring Charlie Chaplin.
